Senior Retention Marketer Apply Now
This position will develop, manage and execute strategies to increase engagement, first-time purchases, retention & LTV throughout all of Posh Peanuts channels.
This person will manage day-to-day email and SMS channel initiatives from ideation and calendar planning to post-send analytics and reporting. This involves partnering cross-departmentally to develop creative briefs, set up/QA/deploy batch and automation campaigns, testing and optimizing, and project management of CRM initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong communication and copywriting skills, is data-driven, customer-centric, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute batch, automated lifecycle, and transactional messaging across digital channels - email, SMS, and push notifications
- Work cross-functionally with our marketing and creative teams to brief, gather, develop, and build content for emails and SMS
- Design and maintain email & SMS performance reporting for weekly, monthly & quarterly KPI meetings
- Analyze customer data and generate actionable insights and retention strategies based on cohorts, customer segments, and lifetime value
- Evolve channels: Expand email and SMS plan to ensure strategies leverage the latest best practices & platform capabilities
- Identify areas of opportunity through A/B testing and optimization
- Create and optimize segmentation and personalization strategies within both batch and automated messages to identify opportunities to improve lifecycle campaigns
- Partner with the marketing team and media buyers to develop and monitor new initiatives focused on driving healthy list growth
- Partner with graphic artists to manage and oversee all aspects of email development. Provide insight on industry best practices and help with email copywriting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related subject required
- 5+ years of related experience in Email and SMS Marketing and or proven track record of growing email and SMS channels for an e-commerce brand
- Expert in working with ESP platforms - Klaviyo
- Experience working with SMS platform - Attentive
- Knowledge in HTML and CSS for email development
- Experience in creating and maintaining automated workflows
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel and data tools
- Confident knowledge of Google Analytics
- Strong project management skills, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter, highly motivated and must thrive in a fast-growing company
